Hello

hi, i'm davis and i am the person who is supposed to be updating this sorry blog. its been a long time since ive done anything here! i have neglected to tell any of you about myself...so i guess thats where i'll start. this is me:
i live in michigan which i like alot. i have lived here for most of my life. i am a musician. i listen to music alot (right now i love listening to kings of leon, the weepies, and owl city) i write songs about life and its quirks and i write them mostly in my favorite season, which is fall. i love fall because it composes a symphony for a dying year. fall gives us nice, crisp weather and drives most sane people inside, leaving me the great outdoors to enjoy for myself. but don't get me wrong...i'm not a recluse. i love people a lot. friends are great things (be mine on twitter!) and family even better. sometimes strangers are the best people to have around though, it helps you stretch yourself beyond your comfort zones. it also makes people think you're weird. i am homeschooled which is often a conversation starter. as much as i love people, they are also my downfall. my greatest weakness is worrying about people and where or not they like me or are mad at me or whatever. i hate it when people are mad at me. i sometimes wear weird, random things (like a scarf or a tie or a weird hat)to impress people. i will call it a creative outlet but in reality its more of a vanity/selfishness outlet. i also love to read books (some of my current favs: the brothers karomozov by fyodor dostoevsky death comes to the archbishop by willa cather, outliers by malcombe gladwell) and i never get a chance to read. i have an awesome family! my mom is a great cook and the rest of us are great eaters. the only cooking i do is grilling and i am not very good at it (my family jokes that when i grill they have two choices: cancer and botulism). my dad is a great encourager and is a very funny person. my siblings (all four) are just plain crazy (actually i'm the crazy one, they are normal, which to me is crazy) and i love them all so much! ok one more thing: i love to travel. i have been to england, kenya, zimbabwe, india, colombia, bulgaria, and greece. ok thats probably enough. any more and someone will steal my identity!
